"As a club we are proud of our community spirit and our commitment to the values of rugby. We promote rugby for all, no matter the ability, and have a thriving membership of children and young people (from Reception year onwards), an active senior team and social membership. The club is led and managed by a dedicated group of volunteers. There is something for everyone, come and join us. 'Be involved, be passionate, stand proud"

Good morning Fairfordonians. One of our men's players, Dan Withers is currently working in Mali and has been to visit a Malian after school club teaching maths, french and warning about forced marriage amongst other things and where they also run a rugby programme helping these young boys and girls learn the discipline that rugby gives. The project has 3 schools, each with about 80 to 100 children of which about 35 are girls plus an adults team to represent the project. The conditions and the equipment is poor at best and Dan has asked them if they would like our help. He has had a meeting with Serge Betsen (for those who know, know) who is heavily involved in the project and they are very grateful of any help we could give.**So my request to you - do you have any old kit that you would be willing to donate**They need things such as - •moulded boots or trainers (esp smaller sizes)•Balls•Cones•Rugby shorts / shirtsIf you can help or have any kit at all please let me know know. I will be in Fairford this Wednesday evening and could either pick up or ask you to drop off at our rugby training. We will also look at a drop off point before shipping out in a couple of weeks.Thankyou in advance, it really will be appreciated. ... See MoreSee Less

Today, we celebrated all that is Youth rugby at FRFC. We have so very much to be proud of, from our coaches and volunteers, to our parents and of course, to the children themselves. The rain came but the smiles did not stop from start to finish and that in itself is testament to all involved. This club is about more than rugby, it is about pride and togetherness. The future has never looked so bright with some incredible talent coming through, some strong and competitive fixtures and new vigor and passion amongst our coaching team.We look forward to welcoming you all back on Sunday 4th September which will be our free taster session and we really hope that you will spread the word and bring some of your friends along to share the fun with us.Thank you to each and every person in attendance today - you are all amazing. Congratulations to our award winners too! Finally, thank you to the incredibly talented Kay Kipling for taking some wonderful photos today. Due to safeguarding regulations, we are not able to share them all with you (which is a great shame as they are just fantastic!) but if you would like to view and purchase images of your child, please email and we can privately allow you to view photos of your child and make a purchase should you wish. ...
