Welcome to Fairford Rugby Football Club

"As a club we are proud of our community spirit and our commitment to the values of rugby.
We promote rugby for all, no matter the ability, and have a thriving membership of children and young people (from Reception year onwards), an active senior team and social membership.
The club is led and managed by a dedicated group of volunteers. There is something for everyone, come and join us.
'Be involved, be passionate, stand proud"
- Scott Cohoon, President Fairford RFC

Please keep an eye out everyone, our volunteers are all too aware of how it feels to have their efforts vandalised but this is truly another level! Some sad news from our Grounds Team today. Sometime between Thursday afternoon and today, individuals have stolen up to 60 of the young trees that were donated and planted along the club boundary back in the Autumn. The theft has been reported to Royal Wootton Bassett & Cricklade Police and we are reviewing CCTV footage. In the meantime, please be on the lookout for anybody trying to sell or plant a job lot of trees. Now they have been lifted they will probably die in this hot weather with little chance that they will take again if replanted. ... See MoreSee Less

A final post on the Fairford rugby club challenge if I may?

132 people, 4 teams, bike and foot, 4 weeks - simply which team could do the furthest distance collectively.

We have had an amazing 4 weeks, hoping to inspire one another, raise awareness in looking after our own and other people's mental health and wellbeing, whilst travelling as far as we could.
This challenge has only been possible because of all those involved, all of who are from our little community. And although this post is about the results of the challenge, it is also the start of something bigger of which we will need the communities support with - more to follow in the next week.
